Can Matons Santa Maria de Martorelles is a white wine (Pansa blanca) with subtle and ripe aromas of white fruit, flowers and nuts with a toasted background. It is a delicate wine, but with a lot of aging potential. It is born from the vineyards of Santa Maria, over 60 years old, which are worked in an organic way. The grapes are pressed whole and the fermentation is very slow, at a controlled temperature and in oak barrels of different formats, adapting the production of each plot.

The Winery

The winery takes the name of the historic farmhouse (18th century) that stands among its vineyards in Santa María de Martorelles (Vallès Oriental). The common denominator of the wines is the native variety of the area (Pansa blanca) and the uniqueness of the vineyards, all of them historical and, in some cases, planted before the phylloxera. Another common denominator is the care of the vine so that the wine is the most honest expression of the terroir where it was born.
