Séptima Obra seeks to enhance the value of the grape variety from which it originates, trying to achieve its best version year after year. Quality noble grape varieties from the best wine regions of Mendoza. Aging in barrels and bottle aging according to each variety and vintage. Elegant, transparent and genuine winemaking that respects the origin of the grapes.
Deep red colored wine, with great aromatic complexity aromatic complexity given by the different different terroirs and ripening times.
Fresh fruits predominate, reminiscent of blackberries, cherries, plums reminiscent of blackberries, cherries, plums and strawberries. After a few minutes in the glass, notes of tomato leaf appear.
On the palate its body, sweetness and silkiness are distinguished.
The Séptima winery is located in Mendoza, the largest wine-producing region in Argentina, with the Andes mountain range to the west. 360 hectares of vineyards at an altitude of 1,050 metres above sea level, the vines are cared for individually and completely by hand. The great level of respect for the land and minimal intervention winemaking processes ensure that Séptima wines are of the highest quality.
The different lots selected from the different estates are harvested by hand and vinified individually.
Pre-fermentative maceration cold maceration for 3 days. Conducted fermentation using selected yeasts in some lots and in other cases with native yeasts. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and are subsequently matured in French and American oak barrels of third and fourth use.
The grapes for this wine come from selected lots from different vineyards located in Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco.
While our Agrelo vineyard gives the wine a fruity profile, sweetness and roundness, the Uco Valley grapes add austerity, freshness, acidity and tension on the palate.
