The Winery

The Séptima winery is located in Mendoza, the largest wine-producing region in Argentina, with the Andes mountain range to the west.  360 hectares of vineyards at an altitude of 1,050 metres above sea level, the vines are cared for individually and completely by hand. The great level of respect for the land and minimal intervention winemaking processes ensure that Séptima wines are of the highest quality.

Elaboration - Vinification

The different lots selected from the different estates are harvested by hand and vinified individually.

Pre-fermentative maceration cold maceration for 3 days. Conducted fermentation using selected yeasts in some lots and in other cases with native yeasts. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and are subsequently matured in French and American oak barrels of third and fourth use.

Vineyard - Viticulture

The grapes for this wine come from selected lots from different vineyards located in Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco.

While our Agrelo vineyard gives the wine a fruity profile, sweetness and roundness, the Uco Valley grapes add austerity, freshness, acidity and tension on the palate.
