Legaris Rosé is Legaris' first rosé wine. The tinto fino vines dominate the landscape of moors, pine forests and golden fields crossed by the Duero River. The first Legaris rosé is born from this native variety. The direct bleeding technique gives rise to this ample, intense and fruity rosé.

The Winery

Legaris is one of the D.O. Ribera del Duero's flagship wineries.  An innovative winery, it offers boutique, artisan wines made in a modern way.  Legaris lies in a privileged location, enjoying the D.O. Ribera del Duero's unique and exclusive climate.  The origin of its wines, the great wealth and variety of its soils, high quality raw materials and very careful winemaking combine to ensure that the wines from Legaris express and extol the unique character of the area.

Elaboration - Vinification

Mechanical harvest early in the morning to ensure the low temperature of the grapes.

Reception of grapes in hopper, destemming and vatting in tank, from which we make a bleeding. Flotation racking is carried out and then the alcoholic fermentation begins at low temperature with selected yeast, which lasts almost 4 weeks. Once finished, the wine is racked and remains with its fine lees in suspension for at least 3 months. It is a young varietal wine, without barrel aging.

Vineyard - Viticulture

For this wine we selected a plot from our own Tinto fino vineyards, located in the village of San Martín de Rubiales (Burgos), which we harvested on October 7, 2021.
