Wine that gave reputation to the winery. Its soft and slightly sweet palate marked an era and with it a precedent of quality sweet wines. White Bach Extrísimo Semi-dulce is made with Xarel·lo and Macabeo and its vinification is traditional: after de-stemming and pressing, the must is cooled and clarified, preparing it for alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature for 7 or 10 days. The varieties are vinified separately and the coupage is harmonious.

The Bach winery has very long tradition of winemaking, with a history that goes back to 1915 in Sant Esteve Sesrovires (in the province of Barcelona). However, it was not until the Universal Exhibition in Barcelona in 1929 that the first bottles were launched. Many years have passed since then, but the winery remains steadfast in its faithful adherence to the original spirit of the winery: quality, originality and personality in all of the wines and cavas that it makes.
Bach Extrísimo Semidulce undergoes a traditional winemaking process.
Bach Extrísimo Semidulce undergoes a traditional winemaking process: after crushing, destemming and pressing, the juice is clarified off solids before alcoholic fermentation which takes place under temperature control between 16-18 ºC during 15 days. Grape varieties are processed separately, to enable an adequate blend for Extrísimo Semidulce. After blending, wine is then aged with French and American oaks of different toast during a few months, which gives it its characteristic bouquet.
Our white grapes are grown in the upper Penedès region.
Our white grapes are grown in the upper Penedès region, where the Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Chardonnay and Muscat varietals reach their maximum expression thanks to less fertile soils and the large variations between day and night temperatures.
