The poppies in the wind seem to turn towards the lilies, commenting on the generous spring in the altiplano of Rueda. On the stony ground stretches a sea of Verdejo vineyards. Smooth, golden, its grapes offer the harmony of the aroma of ripe fruit, and light notes of aniseed green freshness.

This wine is a perfect accompaniment for cream soups, salads, sautéed vegetables, starters, fish, shellfish, smoked foods, white meat, pulses, pasta and rice dishes.

Nose

Expressive white fruit – pear or melon – aroma with tropical hints of passion fruit and mango, plus subtle notes of green-aniseed freshness.

Palate

At first taste it is smooth and fresh, becoming satiny on the palate where it is balanced by well-integrated acidity and, finally, leaving a lasting impression.

Elaboration - Vinification

The grapes are picked with great care so as not to impair their fragrance.

The grapes are picked with great care so as not to impair their fragrance. We separate the stems and macerate the grapes for some hours to free the evocative aromas contained in the skin and capture them in the must. The must is fermented at a low temperature (14 °C), thus slowly revealing the aromatic expression of this variety. The wine is left to age with the yeast lees for two months, developing complexity and heightening the impression it leaves on the palate.
