The Winery

The Bach winery has very long tradition of winemaking, with a history that goes back to 1915 in Sant Esteve Sesrovires (in the province of Barcelona).  However, it was not until the Universal Exhibition in Barcelona in 1929 that the first bottles were launched.  Many years have passed since then, but the winery remains steadfast in its faithful adherence to the original spirit of the winery: quality, originality and personality in all of the wines and cavas that it makes.

Viña Extrísima Rosé is made exclusively from noble red varietals. The must, which comes from red wine devatted from maceration tanks, is rapidly cooled and filtered. It then undergoes alcoholic fermentation over the following days under strictly controlled conditions at 16-18 ºC. The clarified and stabilised wines are then racked in stainless steel tanks until bottling in order to retain their full freshness.

Vineyard - Viticulture

In order to produce our rosés and red wines we select vines plots that are healthy, ripe, homogeneous, with balanced vegetation.

In order to produce our rosés and red wines we select vines plots that are healthy, ripe, homogeneous, with balanced vegetation so that the vines will remain active right up to the grape harvest without too much vigour, with good exposure to light but with light shade. Most of the vineyards from which the grapes are harvested are located on sloping terrain in order to facilitate drainage and avoid excess humidity.
