A different oenological experience

The Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero, as we know it today, arose after the initiative of a series of winegrowers and winemakers concerned with promoting the vineyards and the quality of Ribera del Duero wines at the beginning of the eighties. The implementation of new cultivation practices, the introduction of the most modern technologies for winemaking and rigorous control processes have made the D.O. Ribera del Duero a synonym of quality.

The Rioja Qualified Denomination of Origin has managed to stay at the forefront of wine-making innovation with a great diversity of high-expression wines with differentiated personality, which have established its success in the markets and have placed it among the elite of the historical designations of origin. Today the "Rioja" brand is one of the five most notorious among the most prestigious wine regions in the world.

The winemakers Jorge Bombín, from Legaris (D.O. Ribera del Duero) and Mayte Calvo de la Banda, from Bodegas Bilbainas (D.O.Ca. Rioja) and they fight a duel over their wines. Tempranillo or tinta fina? What will your option be?
