The character of Bruberry is given by its grapes, which origin is in the northern that is also the freshest of the D.O. Montsant.

Edouard Chevalier
Portal del Montsant Oenologist
Bruberry's acidity contrasts well with charcuterie or paellas.  And it might be a pleasant surprise to know that it is also great without food, due to its silky tannins and good level of freshness.

Deep color crimson, clear and bright.

It is a very floral vintage with notes of wild red fruits. Balanced with balsamic notes and soft spices.

Elegant, dominated in the mout for a permanent freshness and soft tannins.

The Winery

Located in the town of Marcà's former cooperative, a building dedicated to winemaking since the start of the last century, this emerging Montsant winery stands out due to its work with the area's historic varieties:  Garnacha and Cariñena. The wines are subtle, fragrant and complex, and take their names (Brunus and Santbru) from the founder of the Carthusian Monastic Order, Saint Bruno of Cologne.  Carthusian monks have had a presence in the Priorat region since 1194 and instigated the cultivation of vines.

Grapes come from the northern area of the D.O. Montsant, specifically the vineyard located in La Figuera, located about 300 meters above sea level which gives it typicality. The vines are about 25 years old, globelet trained, and reduced production. The planting densities are high with narrow frames of 1 × 2 meters. Climate of the area is Mediterranean with hints of Continental characteristics, offering the wine a good acidity level.
